To support our continued growth, we are looking for a Business Development Manager to expand our presence in the Middle East. You will be the key link between prado and our high-profile clientele, including architects, interior designers, developers, and luxury brands. Your expertise in sales and relationship management will drive business growth and ensure an impeccable customer experience from first contact to project completion.
what you’ll do
- Develop and execute business development strategies to grow sales in the UAE market.
- Identify, target and engage potential clients.
- Represent the values of the prado family and generate leads through networking, referrals, cold outreach, industry events and trade shows.
- Provide expert guidance on products, pricing, and project requirements.
- Build and maintain strong, long‑term relationships with design professionals such as interior designers, architects, consultants, developers, fit‑out companies and premium end clients.
- Act as the primary point of contact for clients throughout the sales cycle: lead generation, negotiation, closing and post‑sale support.
- Coordinate with internal teams (marketing, design, product, operations) to ensure seamless service delivery and client satisfaction.
- Maintain accurate CRM records, pipeline updates and sales forecasts.
- Prepare regular reports on business development performance and insights.
what we are looking for
- Proven experience (typically 5+ years) in business development, sales or client acquisition in the interior design, architecture, lighting or related building materials industry.
- Strong existing network with interior designers, architects or design specifiers in the UAE is highly beneficial.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with experience presenting to architects, designers, and developers.
- Ability to work independently, manage priorities and deliver results in a target‑driven environment.
- Proficiency with CRM systems and Microsoft Office tools.
- Valid UAE driving license preferred.
- Fluent in English and Arabic, extra are a plus.
