job description

At prado, we build invisible home technology for the world’s best architects. Since launching our first flagship product in 2021, we have grown into a fully integrated ecosystem of lighting, ventilation, power and security solutions. Our strong R&D focus and targeted M&A strategy fuel our rapid expansion, with 75+ colleagues operating across Europe, North America and the Middle East.

To support this journey, we are looking for a senior logistics engineer to strengthen our Operations team. You will lead cross-functional improvement initiatives focused on process optimization, warehouse layout design, material flow, and automation—driving efficiency and performance across all warehouses.

what you’ll do

  • Lead strategic logistics and warehousing improvement projects, focusing on optimizing warehousing, and process efficiency for Prado’s international supply network.
  • Establish and embed bullet-proof processes that ensure zero defects for customers—driving a company-wide culture of quality where defect prevention, continuous monitoring, and root-cause analysis are part of everyone’s daily mindset.
  • Analyze current production (assembly) processes, including data-driven evaluations, to design and implement effective, fit-for-purpose solutions that enhance operational efficiency.
  • Develop and execute warehousing layouts, feasibility studies, and business cases, including ROI calculations for automation or technology solutions to drive cost reductions and process improvements.
  • Drive the tendering process (RFI/RFQ) for logistics systems, such as storage solutions, material handling equipment (MHE), or automation technologies.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including R&D, operations, and suppliers, to implement chosen solutions and ensure seamless integration across the supply chain.
  • Report progress regularly to senior management, keeping all stakeholders aligned with project goals to support customer excellence and scalable growth.

what we’re looking for

  • Master’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
  • More than 5 years of experience in logistics or supply chain engineering, with a strong preference for roles involving process optimization and automation.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to analyze complex logistics data and translate insights into actionable, pragmatic solutions.
  • Familiarity with digital technologies: hands-on experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), or ERP systems like Odoo; familiarity with AutoCAD or SketchUp is a plus.
  • APICS certification or similar qualifications are a strong plus.
  • Proactive, go-getter mindset with a focus on quality delivery and the ability to adapt swiftly in complex, international environments.
  • Excellent communication skills in Dutch and English
  • Comfortable working independently and collaboratively within cross-functional, teams to drive results.

what we offer

  • prado is an ambitious, internationally expanding company with a dynamic and supportive culture. A company where you will quickly feel at home due to the warm working atmosphere, with ambition as a priority. You will work in an autonomous and entrepreneurial environment, where you are encouraged to take initiative and shape the future of our global supply chain.
  • Strong collaboration with cross-functional teams across regions and departments.
  • A challenging position, with the opportunity to grow both professionally and personally, as you will be instrumental in reimagining and embedding supply chain best practices across the organisation.
  • Strong compensation package, tailored to your experience, with benefits that reflect the importance of your role within the organisation.
