about prado

At prado, we build invisible home technology for the world’s best architects. Since launching our first flagship product in 2021, we’ve expanded our portfolio into a fully integrated ecosystem of lighting, ventilation, power, and security solutions. With a deep focus on R&D and a relentless growth mindset, our team of 100+ people across multiple brands now supports architects, installers, and end customers in over 10 international markets.
We believe we’re just getting started on our journey to becoming the global leader within our industry.

your role

As HR Business Partner, you’ll act as a trusted advisor to prado’s leaders and people managers. You’ll help shape and implement the people strategy that supports our ambitious growth — ensuring our culture, capabilities, and ways of working evolve in line with our business goals.

This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-growing, international environment where not everything is carved in stone. You combine strategic thinking with a hands-on mindset: one moment you’re advising a manager on a team challenge, the next you’re shaping an L&D initiative, supporting organisational changes, or helping set up our first HRIS.

You’ll partner closely with the HR Manager, the TA Specialist, and business leadership to build a scalable people engine for 2026 and beyond.

what you’ll do

  • Act as a partner for people managers — advising on a broad range of HR topics across the entire employee life cycle, from recruitment and onboarding to performance management, development, and day-to-day people matters.
  • Act as a first point of contact and trusted person of confidence for employees and managers.
  • Partner with people managers to align HR priorities with team and organisational needs, ensuring engagement, growth opportunities, and a consistent people experience across all teams.
  • Drive key people themes such as performance management, talent planning, learning & development. helping managers grow their people and build high-performing teams, shape and support L&D initiatives and development pathways, strengthening prado’s learning culture.
  • Support our international hiring strategy and collaborate closely with the TA Specialist to ensure teams scale effectively.
  • Take an active role in the selection, implementation, and optimisation of our future HRIS — ensuring our people operations are ready for scale.
  • Strengthen culture and engagement by bringing our vision, values, and strategy to life through communication and people initiatives.
  • Contribute to HR projects that help build a mature, scalable, and high-quality HR function.

what we’re looking for

  • Master’s degree with 3–5 years of relevant HR experience.
  • Experience in a fast-growing, international environment (scale-up, consulting, FMCG…) is a strong plus.
  • Strong advisory and coaching skills; you’re able to influence, challenge, and support stakeholders at different levels.
  • Digital savvy, with interest in HR systems and tools; experience with HRIS setup or optimisation is a plus.
  • A hands-on, proactive, and structured approach — you love taking ownership and turning ideas into concrete solutions.
  • Ability to balance adaptability with strategic thinking: you can pivot quickly without losing sight of the bigger picture.
  • Excellent communication skills in Dutch and English (additional languages are a plus).
  • Passion for people, culture, and building organisations that can scale sustainably.

what we offer

  • The opportunity to build something form the ground up; to contribute to building the HR strategy and processes of a fast-growing, design-driven company.
  • A dynamic, supportive environment with room to learn, take ownership, and make a real impact.
  • Hybrid work possibilities and flexibility.
  • A competitive salary package with benefits.
  • A team that values craftsmanship, collaboration, and innovation.
