  • a new chapter

At Het Eilandje, The Jane unfolds as a dialogue between memory and movement. Nicolas Schuybroek’s architecture frames this new chapter with quiet confidence. Within this setting, the fine dining experience becomes part of the architecture itself, immersive, deliberate, and deeply sensory.

  • the poetics of contrast

In the Montevideo Residence, light and structure act as one. Schuybroek’s design is an exercise in contrasts. Brutalist geometry softened by refined detailing, raw surfaces illuminated with surgical calm. In collaboration with Tim Hooijmans, custom fixtures were created as sculptural expressions of restraint and precision. Each piece reflects a dialogue between material and glow, shadow and reflection, shaping the atmosphere from within.

minimal scale, grand experience

The Jane’s new home is more than a continuation; it is a reinvention through light. A world where emotion and precision coexist, where every space feels considered yet spontaneous. Here, fine dining transcends cuisine to become an experience of place, rhythm, and quiet intensity.
